Our caregivers are totally committed and carefully selected individuals who are thoroughly screened, bonded and insured. Most importantly our caregivers are dependable and extraordinarily caring of others.

Help at Home Senior Services performs extensive screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal records search, social security trace, employment verification, and driving record history.

In addition to their previous experience, our caregivers receive continuous training that includes a specialized curriculum exclusive to Help at Home Senior Services, Inc. in connection with The Senior's Choice. Our caregivers are initially trained personally by our Staff.

The Certified Companion Aide (CCA) is the second level of education which provides our caregivers with the specific skills necessary to handle the challenges they face daily. This certification contains nineteen essential subjects including understanding aging, nutrition, personal care, and communication.

Help at Home Senior Services, Inc. opened in the Fall of 2003.  Owners Jeff and Debra Papes’ decision to start Help at Home came from personal experience. Jeffs’ father John had been seriously ill for several years. During this time Jeff and Debra assisted Jeffs’ mother, Carol and other friends and family in caring for John.
Over the last years of Johns’ life there was just one consistent request, “please don’t take me from my home”.


This wish was honored.


After Johns passing, it became clear that our family would continue helping seniors to remain safe and secure in their homes for as long as possible.
